Celebrate the start of the holiday season in style by attending a classical concert that has touched hearts for centuries: Messiah by the Baroque composer George Frideric Handel, presented by Festival Classica in Boucherville and Longueuil. The architectural beauty and acoustics of both venues are sure to enhance your experience of this masterpiece.

Medieval melodies take centre stage at Maison Mère Baie-Saint-Paul

For its annual holiday concert, Maison Mère Baie-Saint-Paul (website in French only) invites you to travel back in time and celebrate the magic of Christmas with Ensemble Scholastica. The four musicians will perform songs from the 12th to 14th centuries, using medieval instruments such as the vielle, rebec, and psaltery. An evening of musical discoveries you won’t want to miss!

Two chances to sing Christmas at the Monastère des Augustines

The Monastère des Augustines will host two classical music concerts this holiday season: Noël sans tambour avec trompettes (December 6), featuring seasonal favourites along with festive melodies from around the world, and Les voix d’hommes de l’Etchemin chante Noël (December 14), where four male voices come together to perform timeless pieces. In the intimate setting of the monastery choir, get ready for a unique, immersive auditory experience in the heart of Old Québec!

Good to know: Ticket price includes access to the Re-Connect exhibition as well as the second floor of the museum on the day of the concert.

Les Choralies’ concert series at Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Chapel

The Choralies are back for a 24th edition! Every weekend in December, enjoy a festive program of holiday music from around the world in the stunning Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Chapel in Old Montréal. Before each performance, a trombone duo will be playing on the chapel’s forecourt, and hot chocolate will be served to kick off the evening in a festive mood.

When: December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The closing concert takes place on Sunday December 21, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.

A musical Christmas tale at the Holy Trinity Cathedral

Christmas concert at Saint Joseph’s Oratory

This year, Saint Joseph’s Oratory once again invites you to its Christmas concert! Let yourself be carried away by traditional carols and holiday melodies from near and far, performed by the vocal quartet Meslanges. The Cobalt Quartet will also be performing elegant instrumental renditions of beloved seasonal classics and works by great composers. This unforgettable performance promises grace and deep emotion.
